That's one reason why comparing machines using a single figure such as power or J/cm² doesn't tell the whole story.

Is IPL the same as laser hair removal?
Not exactly. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and uses a broad spectrum of filtered light, whereas a laser uses a more specific wavelength. Beverley Laser & Skin Studio uses Ellipse IPL for its light-based hair-reduction treatments.
Is one IPL machine the same as another?
