Automated Dermal Needling – SkinMed Derma FNS®
What Is SkinMed Derma FNS®?
SkinMed® Derma FNS® is an advanced automated dermal needling system designed to rejuvenate and repair the skin from within. Using a motor-driven, vertically retracting needle technology, it creates controlled micro-channels in the skin while minimising surface trauma. This precision allows for safe, effective stimulation of the deeper dermal layers, promoting natural skin regeneration and long-term improvement.
Why Dermal Needling Is Better Than Alternative Options
Unlike topical skincare, which works only on the surface, dermal needling targets the deeper layers of the skin where collagen and elastin are produced. Derma FNS® offers a regenerative approach that works with the body’s natural healing processes rather than causing controlled damage to resurface the skin. It delivers effective results with less downtime, reduced risk of pigmentation issues and greater suitability for a wider range of skin types. The Derma FNS® system further improves outcomes by reducing unnecessary trauma, ensuring consistent needle penetration and promoting faster recovery compared to traditional microneedling devices.
Why Microneedling Is Needed
As we age, the skin’s natural collagen and elastin production slows down. Environmental damage, acne, scarring, sun exposure and hormonal changes can further weaken the skin’s structure. This can lead to visible concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven texture, enlarged pores, pigmentation and loss of firmness. These issues often cannot be fully corrected with skincare products alone, as they originate beneath the skin’s surface.
